Dynamax Trails

A week-long Max Battle event is on. Dynamax Pokémon return, more Max Particles come from the wild, and Eternamax Eternatus is back at Power Spots.

Dynamax Trails runs from 10:00 on November 16, 2026, to 20:00 on November 23, local time.

These bonuses apply during the event.

• Catching event-themed Pokémon in the wild or finishing a Max Battle can give Max Particles
• More active Power Spots than usual

Catches made with a Pokémon GO Plus + or the Explorer Gadget don't give Max Particles.

Max Battles

Every Dynamax Pokémon released so far, except Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, may appear in Max Battles during the event.

Special Background

Pokémon caught from Max Battles during the event may get a Special Background. It shows on the Pokémon's info screen as a memento of when it was caught.

Eternatus is back

On November 21, 2026, from 11:00 to 14:00 local time, Eternamax Eternatus appears at most Power Spots.

Eternamax Eternatus can't be caught even after you win; you get lots of Eternatus Candy and Candy XL instead. Use them to power up the Eternatus from GO Pass: Dynamax Trails.

During this time, Power Spots change more often, the Max Particle collection limit rises to 2,400, and Power Spots give 8× Max Particles.

From November 20 at 13:00 to November 21 at 18:00 (US Pacific Standard Time), the number of Remote Raids allowed per day goes up from 10 to 30.

Spotlight Hour

Spotlight Hour on Nov 19, 18:00–19:00 local time: Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble; bonus 2× Catch Candy.

Themed event stickers

Themed event stickers come from spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, the in-game shop, and GO Pass progress.

Pokémon in the wild

Event-themed Pokémon, including those that have appeared in Max Battles (except Legendary and Mythical), show up in the wild.

Rewards from Field Research tasks

Finish event-themed Field Research to get Stardust, Eternatus Candy, event-themed Pokémon encounters, and more.

GO Pass: Dynamax Trails

GO Pass is a free, limited-time progress track. Earn GO Points and finish Pass Tasks to raise your rank and get rewards.

GO Pass: Dynamax Trails is granted automatically at 10:00 local time on November 16, 2026. GO Points can be earned until 20:00 on November 23.

Trainers who claimed the Tier 1 rewards (Rank 25) in GO Pass: Into the Wild start early, from 10:00 local time on November 14, and get a free upgrade to GO Pass Deluxe: Dynamax Trails.

GO Pass Deluxe costs US$4.99 (or the same price tier in local currency). It adds rewards and faster ranking, and you get rewards from both tracks, including ranks unlocked before upgrading.

Claim every unlocked reward before 20:00 local time on November 25, 2026. They disappear after that.
