How to use them
- Tap a PokéStop on the map and put a Lure Module in the empty slot at the top. Petals (or each special Lure Module's own pattern) float around that PokéStop and more Pokémon appear.
- To evolve with a special Lure Module, tap the Evolve button near a PokéStop that has that Lure Module. It's fine if someone else put it there.
- Once placed, a Lure Module lasts for a set time (normally 30 minutes, sometimes longer during events).
Besides Lure Module evolutions, you can also choose Eevee's evolution with a nickname or buddy conditions. You can see the evolution conditions in the "Evolution" tab of Eevee's page.
When to use them
- Regular Lure Modules work well during events where a specific Pokémon appears a lot, like Community Day (Community Day prep checklist).
- For special Lure Modules, gather the Pokémon and Candy you need first, then evolve them all at once while the module is active.
Checklist
- Prepare the Pokémon and Candy to evolve in advance
- Check for event bonuses that make Lure Modules last longer
- Share the same PokéStop with friends
