How to use PogoHelp tools (IV calculator, PvP, calendar subscription, My Pokédex)
Getting startedLast checked 2026-10-31
In 3 lines
- Enter CP, HP and the Power Up Stardust in the IV calculator, and it finds every possible IV combination.
- On a Pokémon's page, the PvP tab shows each league's rank-1 IVs and where your IVs rank, and the My Pokémon tab shows power-up costs and CP after powering up.
- Subscribe to the event calendar and new events show up in your calendar on their own, and My Pokédex lets you check off the Pokémon you've caught.
IV calculator
The IV calculator narrows down IVs even without the game's appraisal screen.
- Pick a Pokémon and enter its CP (type its name to search).
- Enter HP and the Stardust shown on the Power Up button, and the level is pinned down, which cuts the candidates a lot.
- If the Pokémon hasn't been powered up, choose where you got it (wild, raid, Egg, trade, etc.) to apply the IV floor.
- Add the appraisal stars too, and only a few combinations remain. If they're all 100%, it tells you it's a confirmed 100%.
PvP tab
On a Pokémon's page, pick a league (Little Cup, Great, Ultra, Master) on the PvP tab to see the rank-1 IVs, the top 10 and where your IVs rank. The idea behind it is in How to pick IVs for PvP, and full league rankings are on PvP league rankings.
My Pokémon tab (power-up costs)
Move the level and IV sliders, and CP, HP and the DPS of the recommended moves change right away. It also shows how much Stardust, Candy and Candy XL you need to reach a target level. You can choose Normal, Shadow, Purified or Lucky (Dragonite).
Event calendar subscription
Tap Subscribe to calendar at the top right of the Events page.
- Add to phone calendar: on iPhone, the Calendar app opens its subscription screen right away. On Android, 'Add to Google Calendar' below is easier.
- Add to Google Calendar: opens Google Calendar's 'From URL' screen.
- Copy address: paste it into the 'Subscribe' option of another calendar app.
Local-time events appear at that time in your own area, worldwide events are converted to your time zone, and your calendar app fetches new events regularly.
My Pokédex
Tap the My Pokédex chips (Caught, Shiny, Lucky, 100%) at the top of a Pokémon's page to save them in this browser. In the Pokédex filters, choose 'My Pokédex' to see only the Pokémon you have or haven't caught. Each device and browser saves separately, so clearing your browser data erases it too.
More
- Use the 'Solo simulator' on Raids to check whether your 6 Pokémon can beat a raid alone.
- Take the Pokémon Type Quiz to find the type most like you and 3 Pokémon that suit you, and share the result with friends.
Checklist
- Check Pokémon you caught in raids with the IV calculator
- For GO Battle League, check the rank on the PvP tab
- Subscribe to the event calendar
Sources
- Site data: all calculations use the game rule settings (config/rules.json) and the base stats and power-up costs from the Game Master (PokeMiners).
